Note: | The mid-year population (i.e. the population on 1 July) is produced by using the demographic balancing method. It is the preliminary figure. Relative indicators (crude rates) calculated by using this mid-year population are preliminary figures as well. | The number of permanently resident population on 1 January of the Census years 2001 and 2011 - PLEASE, NOTE: the population number on 1 January 2001 DOES NOT REFLECT the results of 2001 Census, and therefore it is identical to the population number on 31 December 2000. (It is evident also in the population number on 31 December 2001, which is calculated based on the population number on 1 January 2001.) On contrary, the population number on 1 January 2011 REFLECTS the results of 2011 Census, and therefore it is not identical to the population number on 31 December 2010. |
