Notes: | Average prices are collected including consumption tax and VAT. | From January 2024, the average prices of three new fuels, namely bioLNG, hydrogen and electricity for recharging electric cars, are published. | LPG is liquefied petroleum gas. A significant part of it is propane-butane, which is used as fuel. | CNG is a compressed natural gas that serves as an alternative fuel for internal combustion engines. | LNG is liquefied natural gas. | bioLNG is liquefied biomethane produced as a waste product during biological decomposition. | Hydrogen as an alternative to gasoline or diesel fuel. | Electric energy is used to recharge electric cars at charging stations. According to the length/speed of charging, it is divided into AC charging (180 minutes), DC charging (90 minutes) and Ultra charging (60 minutes). | Data source: | Administration of State Material Reserves of the Slovak Republic | For prices of hydrogen for filling vehicles and prices of electricity for recharging electric cars - price lists of service providers | The Statistical Office of the Slovak Republic did not publish average LNG and bioLNG prices for the 37th week of 2024, reporting units did not supply underlying data due to the impact of an unforeseen natural event. |
